Mantum takes a step closer to climate-neutral transportation.
We have now ordered our first 100% electrified truck. The order is for a Volvo Liftdumper that will deliver containers to and from our customers locally in Varberg.
The vehicle will be delivered in week 26 and will have a train weight of 44 tons and a range of about 300 km.
- The order is one of many actions we are taking to drive Mantum towards a more sustainable future. “It’s an exciting journey with many technological advances, but the infrastructure needs to be developed to expand the use of electrified vehicles,” says Rasmus Strömqvist.
Mantum is constantly working to reduce its CO2 emissions, this order is only one of several environmental projects that it is working on. There have been more orders for other types of vehicles, which will be announced at a later date.
Our hope is that the community of Varberg will appreciate our efforts to work together to create an attractive environment for residents and visitors.
